The ocean, which takes up almost 70% of the Earth's surface, has creatures of all shapes and sizes, color variations and types. They can be found in shallow coastal waters and all the way to the unexplored depths of the ocean. Much like us, they have special adaptations that help them to survive in their designated habitats.
Some of these animals are a great source of protein for other animals, including us humans. Some of them are quite poisonous and pose a hazard to many marine animals. And there are some, which have yet to be discovered by humans, whose traits are unknown.
Some sea creatures we commonly think of are the whale, shark, salmon and tuna, but there are also more exotic animals, like the vampire squid, the mantis shrimp, the dumbo octopus, the leafy sea dragon and the giant spider crab.
Would you like to know which of the many animals found in the oceans of the world you are most like? Would you like to know if you are one of the apex predators or an animal which spends its days laying around in the sand? Well, if you are just as curious as we are, then you will have to take this quiz to find out!
