People who are obsessed with status are usually false.
Anyone who says they have something new to offer is likely a false teacher.

Those who teach anything that is too complex to comprehend is usually suspect.

Can you recall a time when you were punished for adhering to your beliefs?

I avoid punishment at all costs.

My reputation was not spared.
I questioned the religious leaders of my church, and they made an example of me.

Whenever my religious leaders are punished, I suffer.

Suffering adversity to uphold the faith is venerable, but is there any kind of persecution that you will not tolerate?

If I pay by cash, I demand to get all the change that I am due!

There's no way to control adversity. Trying to do so defeats the whole purpose.

I never stopped being serious about my money — faith, or no faith.

I was a student.

It's a miracle that some of my students can't absorb what I teach them.

If it smells like money's coming my way, I never sabotage the transaction.

In the long run, it was for my own good.
I lose faith in the midst of the blessings, but I'm working on fixing that.
