The teenage years can be a little tough. Not only are we trying to find our places within our families, we are trying to find our places in society. We are all anxious to start our lives as adults, but we still like the creature comforts of living at home. Additionally, being a teenager requires a lot of trial and error as we begin learning from our mistakes and growing as people. Part of this trial and error is figuring out who we really are. By understanding ourselves, we try to identify ourselves (whether we identify with those around us or we try to figure out who we are on our own). When it comes to figuring out who we are, we take on personas that we feel comfortable with (sometimes). We make changes to ourselves and grow to figure out what really ends up working for us.Â
While this identity search is stressful and exhausting, it is a necessary rite of passage that we all must go through. If you aren't sure who you are, answer these questions to see what kind of teenager you really are.Â
