About This Quiz

Take this cartoon challenge if you are a cartoon aficionado!

Cartoons were once thought to be for kids only, but many adults also enjoy cartoons, or animated series. There are so many great cartoons that we'd be hard pressed to name them all. From cartoon classics like "Tom and Jerry," "Popeye" and "The Jetsons" to modern-day enjoyment such as "South Park," "King of the Hill" and "The Simpsons," cartoons are for viewers of any age.

Cartoons have a long history, dating way back to the era of silent films. Cartoons were short clips that were shown in theaters before the main feature. Once movies incorporated sound, cartoons began to stand alone as enjoyable but short animated movies. As movies moved to the small screen, i.e., television, cartoons were able to flourish in their own right and grew into the animated series we know today - created with a variety of technical processes that far exceed the old hand-drawn characters. Whether you are a connoisseur of oldies and goodies like "Looney Tunes" or "Scooby-Doo" or you prefer the modern stylings of "Rugrats" and "Family Guy," cartoons offer something for everyone.

Find out how high your cartoon IQ is by completing this fun cartoon quiz.
