About This Quiz

Was geography your favorite subject in school? Do you know the layout of the globe like the back of your hand? Take this How Stuff Works quiz to find out if you know how many countries border the 35 countries in this quiz.

Let's be serious for a moment; although you may know, to an extent, what countries border other countries, you're going to have to stop and think about how many countries border each one. For instance, you know that Canada and Mexico border the United States. That's two countries, and that's easy peasy.

And, by using your mind's eye, you can probably visualize the country of France. You know that Germany and Spain are around there somewhere, but do they both border France? Are there any other countries that border France. The answer is that there are a total of eight countries that border France: Andorra, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Spain, and Switzerland.

You knew that Germany was in there somewhere, right? But who knew about all of those other countries? We know that this quiz will be challenging, but think of the bragging rights you'll have if you ace it.

Let's get started.
