About This Quiz

The "Star Wars" franchise is one of the biggest blockbuster series of all time. If you watched all the movies, and you think you're up for the challenge, young Padawan, take this quiz to find out how much you remember about the movies.

Remember this? See if you can remember who said: "Your father's lightsaber. This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times ... before the Empire."

Let's face it. You didn't just read that; you remembered the actual scene itself from "Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope" (1977). You remembered every voice inflection and pause Sir Alec Guinness gave delivering that unforgettable line. Hey, maybe you even mouthed the words. We don't judge.

Have a bad feeling about this? Don't give a Wilhelm scream. Do or do not, because there is no try. Take this "Star Wars" quiz to see if you can remember who said it.

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."

Like all hired drivers, Han Solo never knew how to put a lid on it.

"If there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from."

Luke wasn't a big fan of his home planet, Tatooine.

"You can't win, Darth. If you strike me down I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine."

Obi-Wan still had a lesson or two for his former Padawan.

"Someone has to save our skins. Into the garbage chute, fly boy."

No wonder she wound up with the getaway driver.

"Jabba, you're a wonderful human being."

This bonus scene between Han and Jabba was not in the original 1977 theatrical release.

"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."

Obi-Wan sensed the destruction of Alderaan, Princess Leia's home planet.

"Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope."

Princess Leia delivers this famous line while giving the Death Star plans to R2-D2.

He didn't say much, but, when he did, it was loud and Han understood.

"Your weapons, you will not need them."

Yoda tells Luke this before the young Jedi-in-training is tested at the cave on Dagobah.

"No. I am your father."

This line is often misquoted as "Luke, I am your father." But let's not split Wookiee hairs.

"Why, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking Nerf herder." "Who's scruffy-looking?"

True love means putting up with a 5 o'clock shadow.

"Ah, strong am I with the Force, but not that strong. Twilight is upon me, and soon, night must fall. That is the way of things. The way of the Force."

Yoda delivers this line before dying in "Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi." He earned some rest.

"Bargain rather than fight? He's no Jedi."

Bib Fortuna was Jabba the Hutt's tentacled attendant in "Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi."

"Good! Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you!"

The Emperor was auditioning a new apprentice.

"Obi-Wan has taught you well."

Father and son duel for a final time on the Death Star above the forest moon of Endor.

"What could possibly have come over Master Luke? Is it something I did? He never expressed any unhappiness with my work."

A protocol droid, C-3PO was fluent in over six million forms of communication.

"It's a trap!"

This line has garnered a fan base of its own through online memes.

"Wesa got a grand army. That's why you no liking us meesa thinks."

The unpopular Jar Jar Binks character appears in "Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace," and maybe a little too much at that.

"I listen to all the traders and star pilots who come through here. I'm a pilot, you know, and someday I'm going to fly away from this place."

The Force was strong with Anakin Skywalker. Sand People are still talking about that Boonta Eve podrace.

"Greed can be a very powerful ally."

Actor Liam Neeson brought his trademark gravitas to the galaxy far, far away with this role.

"Why do I get the feeling you're going to be the death of me?" "Don't say that, master. You're the closest thing I have to a father."

Obi-Wan and Anakin made a great team back in the day, but it wasn't gonna last.

"Attachment is forbidden. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, which I would define as unconditional love, is essential to a Jedi's life. So you might say, that we are encouraged to love."

Anakin and Padme had a forbidden romance written in the stars.

"I'm not afraid to die. I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life."

At one point in the prequels, Padme sports the bun hairdo made famous by Princess Leia.

"I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I hate them!"

Anakin sought revenge against the Tusken Raiders for the death of his mother.

"What's all this? A battle? There must be some mistake! I'm programmed for etiquette, not destruction!"

C-3PO repeatedly thought he didn't have it in him.

"Obi-Wan ... there ... is good in him. I know there is ... still."

Padme insists this before she dies. Our heroes will have to wait years to find out if it's true.

"I am sending you my new apprentice, Darth Vader. He will take care of you."

The revenge of the Sith meant the birth of Darth Vader.

"Anakin Skywalker. I expected someone with your reputation to be a little older."

The general was candid about airing his grievances, but Anakin and Obi-Wan had a job to do.

"Many Bothans died to bring us this information."

The Emperor made a critical error, and the time for their attack had come.

"The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I have just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away forever."

Did you know? Actors Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee starred in 22 films together outside the "Star Wars" universe.
