About This Quiz
Do you know a thing or two about iconic comedy shows? Maybe you're thinking about "Friends," "The Good Place" or "Cheers," but we're thinking about something a little more ... authentic. You know, a TV show that has that documentary-style vibe to it. And that's what "The Office" and "Parks and Rec" both have in common.
Whether you're a fan of Michael Scott or Leslie Knope, we're about to dissect more of their famous lines. But we're going to include some other cast members as well, because these shows are both known for their quirky, odd and charismatic characters. Some of them are more chill and easygoing like Pam Beesly from "The Office," while others are serious and stern all of the time, like Ron Swanson. But as Leslie once said, "One person's annoying is another's inspiring and heroic." Now if you disagree with her, then you might side with Michael Scott, who famously said "Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me." But maybe these quotes are a little too easy for you to guess, so let's kick things up a notch with this fun "Which show said it?" quiz!
Andy Dwyer may be a naive character, but his bright spirit knows how to charm the entire Parks Department (for the most part). But we sometimes wonder about his thought process with the above quote ...
Angela Martin is known for her petite height and body type, so she often has to shop at kid's stores for clothes. But apparently she doesn't like the bright and vibrant clothes at Gap Kids.
Kelly Kapoor said this on "The Office," and although she had a lovable and adorable charm to her, she was also known for talking way too much sometimes. She's also played by Mindy Kaling.

Everyone's favorite character, Dwight Schrute, apparently had a full stomach when it came to eating bone marrow. Don't worry Dwight, you still have your beet farm to cleanse your digestive system!
The word "shirk" actually means "avoid/dodge," so Leslie Knope is telling people to "avoid their other responsibilities." We're not sure if that's the wisest approach, but we still admire Knope for her strong work ethic.
Donna Meagle was a quirky character with a lot of sass in "Parks and Rec." She was also the office manager in the Dept. of Parks and Rec, and apparently, she doesn't need to drink water.

Michael Scott was ... quite the character. He said some pretty interesting stuff on "The Office," and this quote highlights his understanding (or lack thereof) of women. Don't worry, he eventually finds love after all.
We also wonder what Andy Bernard from "The Office" meant with this quote. The character is played by Ed Helms, who has also appeared in "Vacation," "The Hangover" and "We're the Millers."
Leslie Knope said this on "Parks and Rec," and she was definitely known for being outspoken and vocal about her views. And in this case, it would be waffles and friends, minus the whole work stuff.

We admire Chris Traeger for having layers to his character since his outward appearance differs from what he's going through in real life. But he can also be outspoken every once and while, especially with the quote above.
Phyllis had a subtle and passive-aggressive sense of humor, which is evidenced by this quote from "The Office." The character is also played by Phyllis Smith (did you know she's a casting associate)?
Pam Beesly was a sweet and caring person on "The Office," and it looks like she always had an eye for details. And it shows in this quote, since she sees the beauty in everyone and everything.

Creed Bratton always seemed like he had something up his sleeve, and in this quote, it seems like he's ready to fly to Europe should things go south in the "US of A." He was always such a mysterious character ...
Michael Scott was a bit oblivious sometimes, but he just wanted be loved and adored by his coworkers. Hence, why he wanted to be a part of an inside joke — so he could feel included.
Andy Dwyer from "Parks and Rec" may be lovable and charming, but he gets a little serious with this quote. And for such a naive character, he makes some interesting points about life itself.

We're going to guess that Leslie Knope from "Parks and Rec" has a distaste for salads. But this quote also reveals her true character, as she's strong, feisty and true to her word.
Stanley Hudson was always known for being the serious and passive-aggressive character on "The Office." He was also the type of person who said whatever he wanted without a care in the world.
April Ludgate from "Parks and Rec" is known for her deadpan line delivery, which isn't too different from the actress who portrays her: Aubrey Plaza. The character also has a tendency to never smile ... ever.

For being so manly, we're surprised to learn that strippers don't do anything for Ron Swanson. But rest assured, the man does crack a smile when it comes to free breakfast buffets (with a shot of whiskey on the side).
Jim Halpert prides himself on being a "black belt in gift wrapping," but it's mainly to annoy Dwight Schrute, his favorite coworker. And almost every single time, he gets away with it, too.
Kevin Malone was known for saying some questionable stuff, and this quote was one of them. But he's actually a sweetheart who was kind to all of his coworkers in "The Office" (for the most part).

Ben Wyatt loves a whole bunch of nerdy things, like "Batman" and "Game of Thrones," but it looks like he also loves "Harry Potter." But in addition to his nerdy qualities, he's also considered to be one of the most rational characters.
Angela Martin from "The Office" always seemed like she was in such a bad mood, and she definitely wasn't afraid to speak her mind (even if that meant hurting her coworkers' feelings).
Oscar Martinez seemed like a vulnerable and sensitive character on "The Office," but that didn't stop him from speaking his mind about Catholicism. The character is portrayed by actor Oscar Nuñez.

Ann Perkins, portrayed by Rashida Jones, is Leslie's BFF in "Parks and Rec." She's also a nurse who has a "chameleon" personality. In other words, her demeanor depends on the type of person she's dating.
Jeremy Jamm is a councilman on "Parks and Rec," and his character can be described as a selfish and arrogant man who always has a hidden agenda up his sleeve. He's also an orthodontist.
Pam Beesley from "The Office" said this, and she finished the quote by saying "The Dundies are like a car wreck that you want to look away from but you have to stare at it because your boss is making you."

Jean-Ralphio Saperstein was played by Ben Schwartz, and his character was known for being confident, arrogant and terrible at rapping a song. He also has a twin sister named Mona-Lisa Saperstein.
Michael Scott certainly had a way with words in "The Office," and he was also pretty good at beating around the bush in the most blunt manner. But that's what everybody loved about him.
Tom Haverford from "Parks and Rec" is known for his sarcastic personality, which seems very similar to the actor who plays him: Aziz Ansari (who is a comedian). He also has a habit of saying "boo" to his significant other.

Ryan Howard started off as the shy temp on "The Office," but he's become more vocal throughout the series. But he probably doesn't think anyone cares for him, as evidenced by the quote above.
Fans have probably questioned Andy Dwyer's thoughts one too many times, and we're pretty sure that eating 80 pieces of sushi would make anyone barf (but we don't recommend this route if you're actually allergic).
It looks like Dwight isn't well-versed in modern pop culture since he mistakes Justin Bieber for Justice Beaver. Dwight is portrayed by actor Rainn Wilson, who starred in "The Meg" and the highly regarded "Six Feet Under" series.

Chris Traeger said this on "Parks and Rec," and the character is played by actor and director Rob Lowe. Rob also starred in "The West Wing," "The Outsiders" and "Holiday in the Wild."
