Year after year, women of Hollywood, like Gal Gadot and Natalie Portman, take on roles that are not only challenging and beautiful but awe-inspiring and empowering. Kill Bill: Volume 1 was a 2003 martial arts film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Actress Uma Thurman stars as the Bride. Lucy Liu, Vivica Fox and Daryl Hannah are also featured.

Room was an independent drama film released in the United States on October 16, 2015. Brie Larson starred in this film which was considered one of the best films of that year - in fact, she even one the Academy Award for Best Actress!

Directed by Alex Garland, Ex Machina was released in early 2015. Swedish actress Alicia Vikander starred as Ava, a humanoid robot with artificial intelligence!

Working Girl was released on December 21, 1988 and made $102 million at the box office! The cast featured Melanie Griffith alongside Sigourney Weaver and Harrison Ford.

Gal Gadot rocked the title role of Wonder Woman in 2017. This film grossed more than $821 million at the box office, making it the 6th most successful movie of that year!

Paulina García starred as Gloria Cumplido in this 2013 Chilean-Spanish drama. She is also known for her roles in Tres noches de un sábado in 2002, Cachimba in 2004, Casa de remolienda in 2007.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen", Frozen is the highest-grossing animated film of all time, earning more than $1.27 BILLION at the box office! The film featured the lead voices of Kristen Bell as Anna and Idina Menzel as Elsa.

Starring Blake Lively, The Shallows was a 2016 film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. It was considered a box office success, grossing nearly $120 million!

Based on The Story of a Bug by Lee Cheong-jun, Secret Sunshine focuses on a woman as she wrestles with the questions of grief, madness, and faith. South Korean actress Jeon Do-yeon plays the lead role of Lee Shin-ae.

The Girl on the Train was released in 2016 and was based on the same titled novel written by Paula Hawkins. Emily Blunt was critically acclaimed for her lead role as Rachel Watson.
