About This Quiz

Developed by American game developer and publisher, Midway Games Chicago, in 1992, Mortal Kombat is a fighting-style video game franchise set in a fictional universe where one realm could conquer another if they can defeat their mightiest warriors. The premise of the game is as simple as its name - a fight to the death.

The gaming series was so successful that not only had it generated over $5 billion by the year 2000, but it also branched out into a comic book series, a film and television series, as well as a card game and live action tour, soon becoming its very own franchise.

One of the many reasons why people enjoyed playing the game apart from the fighting, particularly the finishing moves, was its characters and their individual stories, some of whom include Lui Kang, Sonya Blade, Princess Kitana, Raiden, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. Another reason for its success was its simplistic gameplay as the arcade game initially had a joystick and five buttons.

Which of the many Mortal Kombat characters are you? Will you turn out to be one of your favorite characters or will you be retaking the quiz because you didn't like the outcome? If you would like to find out the answers to these questions, you should take this quiz!
