About This Quiz

Some of our favorite Disney characters are the ones with unique names, many of which we have never heard before. And like all names, they each have their own spelling. There are some names that are essentially pronounced the same but are spelled completely differently. Take Ariel from "The Little Mermaid." Some people also spell her name as "Arielle."

Also like many "regular" names, quite a few of the Disney characters' names have a special meaning that either alludes to a personality or physical trait. For example, the candelabra's name from "The Beauty and the Beast" translates to "light or lamp" in French, while Simba from "The Lion King" means "lion" in the East African language Swahili.

How well do you know the different Disney characters and the way that their names are spelled? If you were given images of some of your favorites, as well as some of whom are not so popular, would you be able to guess the correct spelling of their names? There is only one way to find out, and that is by taking this quiz!
