Puzzles and brain teasers that require logical skills involve critical thinking, pattern recognition and deduction skills. If you believe you're a logical person by nature, then this difficult logic quiz is for you!
This quiz is full of riddles, "What Am I" questions, numerical and alphabetical patterns, brain teasers and more! So to help you prepare for this quiz, we're giving you a couple of warm-ups to practice with.
Let's start with a numerical pattern. Can you recognize the pattern in this sequence: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9? The pattern is that each number is increased by 2. (1 +2 is 3, 3+ 2 is 5 and so forth). Some questions will also make you think about what letter or word comes next in the pattern!
Other questions will also involve a little bit of math and numerical conversions. For example, do you know what 5% of 50 is? Well, if you can deduce that 10% of 50 is 5, then 5% of that should be 2.5!
If you think you're ready to score a 100% on our most difficult logic quiz to date, it's time to show us what you're made of by using all the brain power you've got!
The answer is 5. If there are four triangles inside another triangle, there would be 5 triangles.
The answer is $17. 15% of 20 is 3, so 20-3 is 17.
7 is the correct answer. The letters correspond to its numerical place in the alphabet. X is the 24th letter in the alphabet and P is the 16th letter in the alphabet. Going by this, A is the first letter in the alphabet. So, the problem really becomes 24-16-1=7.
64 is the correct answer. The numbers in the answer represent a list of perfect squares, so the next perfect square would be 64 (8 times 8 is 64).
N is the correct letter. Each letter corresponds to a number in the alphabet, and each number is added by 3. So, B is 2 and 2 + 3 is 5, which is E in the alphabet. This pattern repeats itself until you get to K, which is the 11th letter in the alphabet. 11 + 3 is 14, which is N in the alphabet (the right answer).
The answer is "They all start with a vowel." A, E, I, O and U are all vowels. Look at the first letter of each word in the list.
The answer is 30. If 1 yard = 3 feet, than 10 yards = 30 feet (you just multiply 10 by 3).
The answer is "A." A is the first letter in the alphabet and is followed by 25 other letters.
The answer is 4. 2xy is another way of saying 2 times x times y. If x is 1 and y is 2, that means 2 times 1 times 2 is 4.
Green is the right answer. If A is blue and B is yellow, that means that when you combine blue and yellow together (A + B), you'll get green.
The answer is 9. A dozen eggs is 12 eggs, and one-quarter of 12 is 3. (In other words, 12 times .25 is 3). That means you used 3 eggs out of 12 eggs, so there are 9 eggs left.
If you look at the second letter in each word, you'll notice that there is an "e." So, the right answer is that every word has an "e" as the second letter.
The answer is 8. Each number is 20% of the previous number. 20% of 1000 is 200, 20% of 200 is 40, and 20% of 40 is 8.
The correct answer is blue. Blue is the color of C or the "sea" and is used to make green.
The answer is 3 syllables. Each word in the list has 3 syllables; try saying them out loud!
The answer is all of the above. 2 pounds is the same as 32 ounces, so everything on the list weighs 2 pounds!
The answer is 6. If 1 tbsp = 3 tsp, and you need 2 tbsp, you just multiply 3 times 2 to get 6.
Pay attention to how the words are spelled. They are known as palindromes, which means they are spelled exactly the same way forward and backward.
The answer is water. We all need water to live, but if we drink too much water in one sitting, we could die.
The names in the list are all the last names of US presidents. Their full names are Grover Cleveland, Chester A. Arthur, Woodrow Wilson and John Tyler.
The answer is "your height." YOU have 5 dogs and 2 cats in this context, so the answer would just be your own height!
The correct answer is Wednesday. Monday is two days before Wednesday and Friday is two days after Wednesday.
The answer is 3rd place. If the horse in 4th place passes up the horse in 3rd place, the horse would now take that spot of being in 3rd place.
The answer is 3. You start out with 10 pieces of fruit and you eat half of it, so you have 5 left. If you give 2 to your mom, you now have 3 left.
The right answer is 10. The pattern alternates between adding 3 and subtracting 2. 5 +3 is 8. 8-2 is 6. 6+3 is 9. 9-2 is 7. So, 7+3 is 10.
The answer is a penny. A penny has likely traveled throughout many parts of the US, but is only worth 1 cent, making it worth (almost) nothing.
The answer is 9. The question wasn't "how many days of the week," just "how many days end in 'y'." Aside from Monday-Sunday, there is also "today" and "yesterday," for a total of 9.
The answer is honey. Honey never goes bad, and is made from bees, which help break down nectar from flowers, into honey. They also sting, so don't get too close!
The answer is half gallon. 1 gallon = 16 cups of milk. If you use a total of 8 cups of milk throughout the week, you have 8 cups of milk left. This is equivalent to a half gallon of milk.
The answer is "He sleeps at night, not during the day." A man says he hasn't slept in 30 DAYS, but he still sleeps during the night!

The answer is Thursday. "2 days before" and the "day after tomorrow" cancel each other out, so today would be Thursday.
The answer is a cloud. A cloud comes in many shapes and sizes, helps to create water, and is not always visible (depending on the weather).
The right answer is one quarter. Half of a quarter is 1/8. So if you had two, but took 1/8 of it away, you're left with a quarter of it. (2 times 1/8 equals 1/4).
The answers are 0 and 30. Each number in the pattern is added by an increase of 2. So, if the first number is 0, 0 + 2 is 2. Then, 2 + 4 is 6. 6 + 6 is 12. 12 + 8 is 20. Finally, 20 + 10 is 30.
