About This Quiz
Where would the NFL be without these names – Joe Montana, Jim Brown, Walter Payton and Jerry Rice – and dozens of others, over the past 100 seasons? Some of us are almost as big a fan of those names on the backs of jerseys as we are the team itself. How can you not cheer on an Eric Berry, who battled cancer only to return to the field the following season? What about the story of Shaquem Griffin, who terrorizes backfields with only one hand, lost following a birth defect? Perhaps you've heard the story of Demario Davis, who turned a potential fine of $7,000 for a "Man of God" headband into a fundraising opportunity for a Mississippi hospital. These are the players behind the Kansas City Chiefs, the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints ... and there are dozens of others out there.
The league is full of not only extraordinary individuals but also extraordinary talent. Whether you know anything about them off the field or not, you likely recognize their efforts on any given Sunday. And it got us thinking: How well do you know the key names that represent their franchises? Sure, some of them are simple: Is there anyone on earth who doesn't know which team Tom Brady plays for? But, can you place HaHa Clinton-Dix? What about JuJu Smith-Schuster? Don't forget Taco Charlton!
We'll give you three names to help you identify the team in question. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, linebackers and more. Some bigger names, some lesser-known. Use your sports smarts to pair these trios with the franchises they take the field for. Ready ... break! The Kansas City Chiefs have one of the most recognizable quarterbacks out there today in Patrick Mahomes (shown here). Two of his favorite targets are tight end Travis Kelce and the newly acquired Sammy Watkins.
The Arizona Cardinals have seen their share of quarterbacks throughout the years, welcoming rookie Kyler Murray (shown here) for the 2019 season. Murray joined NFL veterans Larry Fitzgerald and Patrick Peterson on this year's edition of the Cardinals team.
The Atlanta Falcons have been struggling during the 2019 season, but it's not due to lack of talent. Julio Jones (shown here), Matt Ryan and Devonta Freeman team up to bolster the Falcons' offensive efforts.

The Ravens seem to have new life with quarterback Lamar Jackson (shown here) at the helm. He is joined by NFL veteran Mark Ingram Jr. in the backfield and Earl Thomas on defense. Fun fact: The Ravens are named in honor of Edgar Allan Poe's famous poem, "The Raven."
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers do indeed "fire a cannon" when the Buccaneers, led by Jameis Winston (shown here) Mike Evans and Ndamukong Suh score inside Raymond James Stadium. They even have a replica pirate ship!
The Los Angeles Rams, who lost the Super Bowl to the New England Patriots in early 2019, returned several of the biggest names on their roster including defensive superstar Aaron Donald (shown here), recent acquisition Brandin Cooks and QB Jared Goff.

The Cleveland Browns were envisioning big things for their 2019 campaign, with Baker Mayfield (shown here), Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry all donning the brown and orange. Unfortunately, all that has come of it so far is a bunch of sad puppies.
Say what you want about the Dallas Cowboys, but they are one of the most heralded franchises in the NFL today. They share three superstars on their roster in Dak (shown here), Zeke and Amari, a recently new addition thanks to the Oakland Raiders.
The New England Patriots make a business out of turning no-name athletes from other teams into superstars in Boston. Tom Brady certainly has made a name for himself, with Julian Edelman (shown here) and Kyle Van Noy part of the dynasty.

The Cincinnati Bengals are having a rougher than normal season in 2019. With quarterback Andy Dalton (shown here) at the helm, joined by teammates A.J. Green and Joe Mixon on offense, it is a head-scratcher for fans of this franchise.
You're probably acquainted with Peterson (shown here) and Norman being on other teams, but they are now teammates alongside rookie Dwayne Haskins for the Washington Redskins. The Redskins play at FedExField Stadium just outside the nation's capital.
They may be called the Tennessee Titans, but they exist in the "Music City," otherwise known as Nashville. Mariota (shown here) is a quarterback on the team, with Walker and Henry two of his primary targets.

The Chargers moved from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2017, but the faces stayed much the same. Joey Bosa, Philip Rivers and Melvin Gordon have been playing together – and moving together – for several years.

Von Miller (shown here), Bradley Chubb and Drew Lock are all members of the blue-and-orange-clad Denver Broncos, who play at Mile High Stadium. The stadium is so-named for its high altitude positioning, roughly 5,280 feet above sea level.

The Detroit Lions have made plenty of roster moves since new head coach Matt Patricia came aboard. Kerryon Johnson (shown here) was drafted by the team in 2018, while Trey Flowers came aboard from the Patriots to join veteran QB Matthew Stafford.

The Green Bay Packers and the name Aaron Rodgers are nearly synonymous at this point, though the cast of characters around him changes. Running back Aaron Jones (shown here) and wide receiver Davante Adams are two of Rodgers' current teammates.

The Houston Texans might be on to something with this trio, who all excel in their given roles. Deshaun Watson (shown here) is becoming a more confident quarterback with a player like DeAndre Hopkins to pass to, and the Texans' defene is always more formidable with J.J. Watt on the field, although he's currently out with an injury.
Since Jon Gruden took over the Oakland Raiders in 2018, he has made a series of questionable roster moves, at least according to Raiders' fans. Today, the team's roster includes Derek Carr (shown here), Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow.
The Seattle Seahawks have been comfortable with Russell Wilson (shown here) at the head of the offense since he was drafted in 2012. He is joined by offensive weapons Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf, both wide receivers.

The San Francisco 49ers are enjoying a prosperous 2019 season, with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (shown here) at the helm. He is joined on the field by tight end George Kittle and on the defensive side of the ball by Nick Bosa.
