In 1997, author J.K. Rowling introduced the world to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The novel follows a boy who discovers he's a wizard and is forced to risk his life for the future of the magical world. With this novel, Rowling introduced characters like Harry, Hermione and Ron. She would introduce other students like Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy. They would be taught by McGonagall and Snape, but don't forget our favorite Headmaster, Dumbledore.

These are some of the most iconic characters in the series, but this quiz isn't for them! In her seven novels, J.K. Rowling introduced over 100 characters. How well do you remember the minor characters?

Who was the professor that taught Defence Against the Dark Arts in Year 2? What was the name of the woman who ran the Three Broomsticks? Who gave Harry Potter his first Quidditch lesson? If you can answer these questions, you're ready!
